What Music Means To Me

This music video, 'Lady Marmalade' justifies my reasons for selecting the song as my childhood favourite. From beginning to end we see extravagant clothes, make-up and backgrounds/settings. I was very into performing arts so the video fitted my personality well, being over the top. Also the song is one you can dance to, which I liked to do a lot.




This music video reflects my teenage personality. In my earlier teens I was still very into dance and performing, in this video Beyoncé performs a dance routine with her back up dancers. She also wears different sparkly outfits which appealed to me. The video as a whole is more mature due to the black and white colouring and plan, sophisticated background.
